What you get to do:
- Manage a broad range of store activities including retail operations tools and checklists to identify, organize, and prioritize with delegation of duties when applicable.
- Provide daily leadership to team members and contribute to overall operations.
- Ensure a highly positive customer experience by greeting and positively interacting with customers and donors, and handling questions and complaints.
- Assist with recruitment and selection process by effectively interviewing and selecting candidates as needed and help support a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Carry out accountability action and performance discussions with team members, including both positive reinforcement and constructive feedback to help with continuous development of the Goodwill NCW team.
- Ensure all team members are trained and up to date on required Goodwill NCW training sessions, required safety programs and on-the-job training experiences.
- Assist recruitment and selection process of team members by interviewing and selecting applicants that support our mission, values, and guiding principles. Ensures all Team Members are successfully onboarded.
- Utilize financial reports to analyze and drive results.
What we need from you:
- At least 1 year of retail management experience.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Experience in leading, developing and empowering others.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
- At least an intermediate skill-level with Microsoft Office products.
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule.
Physical Requirements

- Work is performed both in a standard office environment and retail stores with extensive team member contact and frequent interruptions.
- Primary function requires sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office and retail store setting; to sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, twist, lift, carry, push and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight.
- Operate office and retail store equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination, including use of a computer keyboard.
- Travel to other locations using various modes of private and commercial transportation.
- Verbally communicate to exchange information.
