Job Purpose
The purpose of this position is to assist adults in the community to become literate and obtain the knowledge and skills necessary for employment and economic self-sufficiency. This includes providing high-quality research-based instruction in reading, writing, and mathematical skills to raise their educational functional levels and/or obtain their high school equivalency. The role also involves assisting staff in recruitment, goal setting, instruction, and providing and imbedding work readiness activities into instruction.
Key Responsibilities
Bachelor's degree required. Demonstrated experience working with adult learners. One year of experience in providing case management or vocational services to individuals with barriers to employment is preferred.

- Support student success in career pathways.
- Provide initial and on-going assessment of students' abilities and skills.
- Offer instruction in various basic methods to appeal to varying learning styles and abilities.
- Develop lesson plans that align with CCRS objectives.
