Position Summary
The Senior Manager of Compliance leads all aspects of the organization’s enterprise risk management and compliance programs. This may include adherence to policies, procedures, DOL, OSHA, CARF and other entities.
Essential Duties
(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)
1. Responsible for the strategic leadership and management of the organization’s corporate compliance and enterprise risk management programs.
2. Identify and assess potential areas of risk within the organization and collaborate with key personnel to implement system or process changes to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.
3. Lead the internal compliance audit program and processes that monitor, inspect, and audit performance with respect to Case Records, DOL, and Vocational Billing Audits and Health and Welfare.
4. Support the organization in the maintenance of CARF accreditation and report updates to CARF standards. Make policy and procedure changes to ensure compliance with regulations. Provide oversight of and adherence to Privacy Program requirements and conduct training associated with the program.
5. Prepare and deliver presentations and reports for senior leaders and the Compliance Board Committee that summarizes potential corporate risks, current known risks, mitigation and remediation plans, and audit trends. May consult with legal counsel as needed to resolve complex legal compliance issues.
6. Remain current with and report out changing governmental regulations. Maintain a network of resources for information and guidance related to issues pertaining to regulations.
7. May conduct safety inspections and loss prevention audits and implement corrective action plans to address discrepancies.
Supervisory Responsibilities
The associate in this position has supervisory responsibility for designated associates in their department.
Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance
• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• 5 Years' experience in Risk Management, Corporate Compliance, Finance or related field required.
• No professional certifications are required for this position.
• Valid state driver's license, insurance and satisfactory driving record are required.
• The associate in this position will be required to successfully pass both state and federal criminal background checks.
• Knowledge and experience in Lean Six Sigma / process improvement discipline is desirable. • Must be skilled in PowerPoint, Excel and Word. The associate must be proficient with technology. May be required to lead organization-wide meetings and webinars.

Physical Demands/Work Environment/Work Conditions
• General Office Position - The associate is required to lift up to 10 pounds maximum.
• The associate works in a general office environment and is infrequently exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.).
• The associate is required to travel throughout the Goodwill service area. Occasional overnight travel is required.
