Title : Community Response Team Coordinator
Location : New Castle County
Pay Rate : $22.00 to $24.00
Schedule : Monday – Friday 8 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm. Weekend and evening hours are expected to be covered regularly by flexing normal hours.
Job Description :
The Community Response Team (CRT) Coordinator will coordinate activities and directly support the three county-based CRTs (New Castle, Kent and Sussex). This includes planning and implementing appropriate community activities / events. You will be responsible to form and maintain strong relationships within and between the CRT members, community partners, individuals in the community, and the Overdose Response Center (ORC). The goal of Delaware’s Community Response Teams is to provide a ready team of volunteers to hold staff events to support the state’s response to the overdose crisis, including training on and distributing naloxone (Narcan ®) kits. This position reports to the Community Response Manager within the Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health’s ORC.
Qualifications :
- Understanding Substance Use Disorder, community development principles and practice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with individuals, diverse client groups, and agencies.
- Ability to manage numerous priorities.
- Strong leadership abilities.
