Position Title: Operational Support Technician
Location: Milford, Delaware
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
Pay Rate: $14.63 per hour. To be raised to $15 in January.
Job Description:
Within your functional responsibility, provide appropriate services quickly and accurately. Sort, date stamp and process incoming and returned mail for team to distribute. Answer telephone, screen calls, refer to appropriate worker/POD or agency, and take messages. Greet visitors, screen the case on Worker Web, determine the reason for the visit and route to the appropriate staff person. Offer voter registration and process resulting registration forms. Mail applications as appropriate/with date sent. Provide routine information regarding programs as well as brochures and other community resources as available. Photocopy, date stamp and distribute information as requested. Process ID cards according to established security procedures. Maintain forms and supplies for efficient unit operation. Prepare and process documents for and through the Document Imaging System (DIS) via scanning, tagging and indexing. Maintain documents already in DIS for 3 months in case we need to refer to them. Update and maintain all assigned logs promptly and accurately. Process requests for cases from other units and Quality Control to include audits. Assess priorities daily for completion. Use proper care in operating assigned equipment.
