Title: Planner III
Department: Department of Health and Social Services
Division: Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am to 4pm 37.5 hours/week
Pay Rate: $24.00-$25.00
Description: Primary responsibility for this Planner III position is to lead the start to finish planning coordination, and execution of multiple 300-500 perosn conferences annually, and other related public events. This includes ensuring all events and proposed content aligned with SOR-grant priorities and leadership’s expectations, as well as collaborating with internal and external partners for seamless planning and execution of all events. The role requires a high level of personal ownership over event design, layout, marketing, materials, logistics, vendor relations, speaker coordination, budget management, etc. Additionally, this position will manage post-event debriefs (internal and external), gather feedback, and integrate lessons learned into future planning and events. This position will also assist with other SOR-grant related events/projects/duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and planning skills, and the ability to foster collaboration among partners are essential for this position.
