What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Clerk position at GOODWILL OF SOUTH FLORIDA?
Operates a multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel.
Provide customer service to visitors and callers in a courteous and professional manner.
Perform clerical duties as assigned.
Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department
Greets and answers question about organization and provides callers with address, directions and other information. Issue visitor's pass and maintain visitor’s log.
Inform job applicants of current available job openings and tell them how and where they should apply.
Collects employee’s information for verification letters, ID Badges, address changes, W-4 changes, etc.
Receives, logs and fax all the employment verification forms.
Responsible for handling all Federal Express, UPS packages and courier correspondence, calls the appropriate company and/or department, maintains log and receipts.
Help promote a quiet and pleasant atmosphere in the lobby by monitoring noise levels and orderly conduct of employees and visitors alike.
Perform a variety of clerical duties as needed, such as: send and distribute faxes, makes photocopies, mail, etc.
