This position is responsible for supervising all aspects of the Retail Transportation System in both Pennsylvania and North Central West Virginia by assisting District Managers and Store Manages with transportation and distribution of donated and purchased merchandise by insuring proper and timely pick-up and delivery of materials. Provide leadership and direction to staff and assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to promote and maintain safety.
Duties will also include but are not limited to:
- Plan work assignments and equipment allocations to meet transportation, operations and production goals.
- Direct and supervise employees including assignment of employees to specific tasks, as needed.
- Maintain a current and up-to-date understanding of and comply with all company policies and procedures.
Travel Required: Yes, some travel may be required.
External Hiring Range: $22.36-$23.70/hour
Qualifications:
- Associates degree with 2 years of experience or a High School diploma/equivalent with 4 years of experience
- Experience can be a combination of operations management specific to warehousing or distribution, inventory management specific to supply chain or retail stores, or process optimization in any organizational operational role. Supervisory experience is highly preferred.
