What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Consultant position at Goodwill of the Great Plains?
We are seeking a Nurse Consultation to join our team! In this position, you would be responsible for the review, consultation, and/or advisement on activities and issues related to all facets of health services of health services provided in the mission services Integrated Day department. You would review physician’s instructions for persons served in order to monitor the medication and treatments administered to them, provide medication manager training to staff and assist in carrying out staff education programs.
Wages: $25.00 - $30.00

Responsibilities:
- Review physician’s instructions for persons served in order to monitor the medication and treatments administered to them.
- Provide medication manager training to staff and assist in carrying out staff education programs.
- Use good judgement, use tact in dealing with persons served and staff.
- Be able to make critical decisions and be appreciative and sensitive to the feelings of others.
Qualifications:
- License as registered nurse in the state of Iowa
- At least two (2) years prior experience as a RN preferability dealing with term care patients or those with developmental disabilities.
