What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Goodwill of the Great Plains?
We are seeking a Warehouse Associate. You will be moving materials utilizing a forklift to unload and move products from or near trucks, docks, and/or staging areas to specific locations within the warehouse. You may also be tasked to drive a straight truck to various locations for pick up or delivery. Duties also include the moving of materials using pallet jack or hand truck as directed and approved by supervisor.
Position Type: Full-Time; Monday -Thursday 7a-3p and Friday 7a-2:30p
Wages: $18.71-$19.40 hourly

Responsibilities:
- Ability to maintain an orderly warehouse
- Fast-paced environment
- Highly physical working environment; ability to squat, bend at the waist and knees
- Sorting/Processing metal salvage
- Operating plastic baling system
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Inventory system of plastic boxes, metal boxes and plastic bales
- Daily communication with Operations Supervisor
- must be able to or is willing to learn to shag trailers in the yard
Qualifications:
- High school graduate/GED preferred, but not required
- Two years prior work experience, preferably in similar work setting
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to be certified in forklift operations and safety standards
