We do our work with great gratitude for the community donations, purchases, and partnerships that make our mission possible.Right now our Olympia, WA store is seeking a Full Time Donation Attendant!Hourly Rate : $16.66 per hourPosition Summary : As a member of the Goodwill production team, Donation Attendants will be responsible for processing and sorting the donations provided by our community.Essential Duties and Responsibilities : The Donation Attendant responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned : Accepting donations from donors and issues receipts as necessaryKeeps donation indoor / outdoor areas clean, neat, and free of debrisTraining on Gaylord and pallet use will be providedAssists in the unloading / loading of trucks and / or trailersCustomer ServiceMust possess exceptional customer service skills : greets donors, carries donations from donor's vehicle to the center, and provides donor receipt if requested.Determining Acceptable DonationsExercises good judgement in determining which donations are acceptable while communicating that decision to the customer effectively and politely as possible.Record KeepingMaintains all required records and delivers them to supervisors or drivers as scheduled.Qualifications / Basic Job Requirements : Desire to succeed and show up to every shiftAbility to be a vital part of a team as well as work individuallyHas a positive attitudeExceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communications skillsSuperior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and consensusWe Have You Covered! Will constantly lift 1-15 pounds, frequently lift 15-20 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
