As a LifeLaunch GO Program Participant, you will immerse yourself in the Goodwill retail store or warehouse environment for a 200 hour PAID internship. This program is designed to provide practical work experience, financial stability, and a comprehensive support system while fostering your path toward personal growth and success. Essential Duties And Responsibilities May Include
- Work in a Retail Store or Warehouse: Execute a variety of tasks related to retail and warehouse operations, including stocking, customer service, inventory management, quality control, and more
- Inventory Management: Learn inventory tracking and management techniques, assisting in maintaining accurate stock levels and organization.
- Customer Service: Develop strong customer service skills by assisting and interacting with customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Visual Merchandising: Contribute to store aesthetics by assisting in creating appealing merchandise displays that attract customers.
- Cash Handling: Gain experience in cash handling, point-of-sale transactions, and cash register operation if assigned to a retail store.
- Shipping and Receiving: Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including checking in merchandise, labeling, and preparing items for shipment.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to achieve team goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Justice Involved Young Adult: Aged 18 to 24, with a history of justice involvement and a strong aspiration to redirect their life toward positive endeavors.
- Motivated and Reliable: Exhibit a steadfast commitment to personal growth and reliability in fulfilling work and program-related obligations.
- Strong Work Ethic: Demonstrate a willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to the success of the retail store or warehouse team.
- Good Communication Skills: Possess the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, customers, and program staff.
- Eligibility: Must meet the eligibility requirements for participation in the LifeLaunch GO Program.
