What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Store Manager position at Goodwill of Western New York?
THE POSITION
This position’s key responsibilities include :
Meets all retail performance standards including operating loss control and ensures compliance with all policies and procedures.
Assists Store Manager with implementing strategies to improve customer service, drive store sales, and increase profitability. Works with Store Manager to ensure all business goals and metrics are met.
Ensures customer needs are met, complaints are resolved timely, and service is quick and efficient.
Coaches, mentors and trains employees as needed. Manages employees in absence of the Store Manager.
Oversees all Retail Store Operations in the absence of the Store Manager.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED.
Prior supervisory and retail experience is preferred.
If hired full time, you would be required to attend a full-day orientation at our Administration Office location in Buffalo.
