What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Donation Trailer Attendant - WNY North West Region position at Goodwill of Western NY?
This position will travel to our various donation trailer sites throughout WNY. This position is eligible for mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate to cover the cost of travel between designated sites below:
- Tonawanda: 850 Young St
- Grand Island: 2140 Grand Island Blvd
- Lewiston: 795 Center St (travel to location would be rare)
THE POSITION
This position’s key responsibilities include:
- Greets and assists donors at our donation trailers.
- Delivers excellent customer service and ensures our donors have a great experience with our donation process.
- Collects, sorts, and organizes donations according to Company policies and procedures.
- Maintains a clean and safe drive-thru according to established Company standards.
- Travels between various donation trailer locations.
- Assists other departments within the Company when needed.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS: (The stuff you must have)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must have reliable transportation to make it to various Company donation trailer locations.
- Ability to make decisions regarding the quality of items.
- Is reliable and consistently comes to work on time and as scheduled.
- Must be able to lift, exert, push, pull, carry or otherwise move up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently and/or up to 20 pounds constantly with no support.
- If hired full time, you would be required to attend a full-day orientation at our Administration Office location in Buffalo.
COMPENSATION:
Goodwill regularly evaluates our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. Starting pay will be based on a candidate’s experience, skills and education.
