Key Holder (Store Associate)

THE POSITION

This position’s key responsibilities include:

• Performs store opening and closing procedures which includes, but is not limited to, ensuring security of the building by locking and setting alarms.
• Trains Store Associates on job duties as necessary.
• Acts as the Manager on Duty when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is unavailable.
• Greets and interacts with customers. Demonstrates and explains merchandise, selects and suggests options suitable for the customers’ needs, and answers customers’ questions about merchandise.
• Collects payment using the store point of sale system.
• Prices and tags goods according to retail policy and restocks sales floor as necessary.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS (The stuff you must have)

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one (1) year or retail experience highly preferred.
• Schedule flexibility.
• Is reliable and consistently comes to work on time and as scheduled.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry or otherwise move up to 50 pounds with no support regularly.
• Able to perform tasks that require repetitive motion (ie: tagging or hanging clothes). Manual dexterity is required.

COMPENSATION:

Goodwill regularly evaluates our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. Starting pay will be based on a candidate’s experience, skills and education.
