Job Summary
The Receptionist is responsible for answering the phone, greeting the public, and handling the mail.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Answer all incoming calls and direct to proper individuals
- Greet the public and notify staff of visitors. Track visitors with sign-in/out log.
- Ensure outgoing mail has postage and is pre-sorted for post office. Keep records of postage used.
- Log Goodwill loyalty card applications.
- Order custodial and office supplies
- Coordinate room rentals at Benson Park Plaza.
- Assist with safety drills.
- Manage employee refunds from vending machine losses.
- Meet or exceed the attendance expectations for this position
- Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of employees, customers and participants.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Personally participate in ongoing professional growth, education and development as well as supporting others in their efforts to develop.

Education And/Or Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- One (1) year phone or customer service experience required
- Some general clerical and/or secretarial experience preferred
- None required
- Computer literate - knowledge and/or ability to learn
- Knowledge and/or ability to learn multi-phone and voice mail system
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
