Primary Responsibility / Summary
Drives tractor/trailers and straight trucks as assigned to deliver and/or collect goods.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1.Regularly inspects vehicle and fills out daily inspection forms.
2.Complies with company safety procedures and Department of Motor Vehicles regulations. Reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
3.Exchanges donation trailers.
4.Loads, secures and unloads goods.
5.Completes assigned route efficiently.
6.Ensures all related paperwork is filled out correctly.
7.Presents friendly, cooperative attitude; is well-groomed at all times.
8.Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Driving records must meet the requirements of company’s insurance carrier.
10.Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Education & Experience
2-3 years of Class A driving experience.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Good communication skills with pleasant customer service attitude.
Ability to work without supervision.
Spanish / English bilingual preferred.
