What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ability One Janitor - FT/PT position at Goodwill Western Missouri and Eastern Kansas?
Reporting to the Janitorial Supervisor, the Janitor is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of assigned buildings according to contract standards.

Essential Functions

- Complete assigned janitorial duties according to your
- Practice safety precautions in the application and use of supplies; not limited to hazardous materials, Universal Precautions,
- Practice safe and correct lifting
- Perform all duties as assigned by the Team Leads or
- Be flexible with duties performed, as job expectations or schedule changes
- Be a responsible steward of Agency resources, conscious of not wasting time and/or
- Provide transportation to and from worksites, if necessary – as required for their route.
- All other duties assigned by the Janitorial Supervisor
Janitors assigned to floor care
- Knowledge of janitorial floor care practices
- Ability to Strip, wax, buff, burnish, scrub floors and assess for specific maintenance needs
- Knowledge of floor care producers and usage requirements
- Ability to identify and use all floor equipment required in contract
- All other duties as assigned by a supervisor
