About the Job:
The ideal candidate will assist the LifeWorks Program Manager in managing residential, deaf, or community service programs. This role involves working closely with staff to ensure that all service recipients' needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with daily tasks such as toileting, bathing, feeding, walking, dressing, and hygiene
* Respond to urgent matters related to service recipients, employees, and the facility
* Participate in staff management to ensure quality service delivery
Requirements:
* American Sign Language (ASL) experience
* Prior work experience with persons with challenging behaviors
* Certification and licensure as determined by program requirements
* Valid driver's license permitting operation of a vehicle in the State of Maine with a satisfactory driving record
* Evidence of high school diploma or equivalent
* Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
* A criminal background check that meets Agency standards
