Residential Program Coordinator
We are seeking a high-energy Residential Program Coordinator for one of our homes in Oakland, Maine. This individual reports to the Program Manager and offers an excellent opportunity for a Direct Support Professional to learn and develop management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Residential Program Manager with operating a residential program and participate in staff management to ensure all service recipients' needs are met.
- Respond to urgent matters related to service recipients, employees, and the facility in the absence of the Residential Program Manager.
- Ensure that all necessary certifications for facility staff are current within agency policy.
- Proactively engage residents while setting examples in expectations for staff.
Requirements:
- One year experience in a residential setting.
- Prior work experience with persons with challenging behaviors.
- Certification and license as determined by program requirements.
- Valid driver's license permitting operation of a vehicle in the State of Maine with a satisfactory driving record.
- Evidence of high school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
- A criminal background check that meets Agency standards.
- COVID 19 Vaccination.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Direct Support Professional Certification (or College of Direct Support).
- Active CRMA, CRMA 40 Preferred.
- NAPPI or Behavioral Intervention Certification.
- CBIS (When applicable).
