Residential Program Coordinator

We are seeking a high-energy Residential Program Coordinator for one of our homes in Oakland, Maine. This individual reports to the Program Manager and offers an excellent opportunity for a Direct Support Professional to learn and develop management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Residential Program Manager with operating a residential program and participate in staff management to ensure all service recipients' needs are met.
• Respond to urgent matters related to service recipients, employees, and the facility in the absence of the Residential Program Manager.
• Ensure that all necessary certifications for facility staff are current within agency policy.
• Proactively engage residents while setting examples in expectations for staff.

Requirements:

• One year experience in a residential setting.
• Prior work experience with persons with challenging behaviors.
• Certification and license as determined by program requirements.
• Valid driver's license permitting operation of a vehicle in the State of Maine with a satisfactory driving record.
• Evidence of high school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
• A criminal background check that meets Agency standards.
• COVID 19 Vaccination.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Direct Support Professional Certification (or College of Direct Support).
• Active CRMA, CRMA 40 Preferred.
• NAPPI or Behavioral Intervention Certification.
• CBIS (When applicable).
