- Set up, troubleshoot, and operate multi-spindle, bar-fed mill-turn CNC lathes to ensure the production of precision parts according to strict specifications.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks before each shift, ensuring oil, lubricants, and coolant levels are adequate, and perform warm-up cycles to maintain optimal machine performance.
- Perform first article inspections, document part dimensions for compliance with quality standards, and use micrometers, calipers, and other tools to verify part specifications.
- Strong skills in reading and writing M & G codes, with experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and making adjustments as needed.
- Ability to consistently produce parts within specifications, ensuring quality using various measurement instruments, and conducting first article inspections.
- Must have experience working with twin spindle machines
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, possess strong problem-solving skills, and work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
