Associate Attorney Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of transactional experience and experience in Commercial Real Estate specifically
- Must have experience with commercial leasing
- Meet all the attorney compliance requirements and admission to the Maryland Bar
- Must have excellent research, analytical, writing, and client communication skills
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Self-starter with a results-driven mentality
- Practicing attorney in the state of Maryland or ability to waive into Maryland Bar
- Excellent supervisory and interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
- Drafting, reviewing, revising, and negotiating leases and related transactional documents.
- Collaborating and advising with all departments for deadlines, legal issues, negotiations, processes, and communicating with opposing legal counsel, brokers, tenants, and financial institutions regarding leasing-related issues
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively under pressure and with people at all levels, both inside and outside of the company
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), Lexis Nexis, Maryland Land Records, State Department of Assessments, and Taxation.
- Support and work with Assistant Vice President of Legal and general leasing team
