We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair generators, fleet vehicles, and electrical systems for equipment. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring optimal equipment performance in both shop and field environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Maintain and service generators, fleet vehicles, and industrial coating equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using a multimeter for fuses, circuits, and motors.
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs in-house and on-site.
- Provide technical support and training to customers on equipment use.
- Travel domestically and internationally to support oil, gas, mining, and utility clients.
- 3 years of experience in diesel engine maintenance, power generators, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical and electrical repair skills.
- Experience with coating equipment (is a plus).
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to obtain a passport for possible international travel.
- Bilingual in Spanish (is a plus).
