Director of Business Development - Healthcare
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Business Development to oversee relationships with current and potential clients in the healthcare sector. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for our healthcare customers and will focus on building strong, lasting partnerships with healthcare providers and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs).
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and proactive support to the Field Sales team to help meet ambitious healthcare sales goals.
- Develop comprehensive annual strategic plans for key accounts, including setting measurable growth objectives and targets.
- Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Service Operations teams to ensure customer needs are effectively reflected in our product offerings.
- Maintain regular and open communication with healthcare customers to understand their evolving needs, funding trends, and regulatory changes.
- Deliver engaging training sessions to the Field Sales team on innovative strategies for effectively selling to healthcare clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field; an MBA is highly favored.
- Proficient in utilizing advanced business intelligence (BI) tools to analyze customer trends and identify emerging needs.
- Highly results-driven with a strong focus on setting and achieving ambitious goals while efficiently managing resources.
- 5-8 years of proven experience in Account Management, Business Development, Inside Sales, or other customer-facing roles.
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills, with the ability to operate with a strong sense of urgency.
