We are looking for an Executive Catering Chef to lead off-premise catering events. We are looking for someone who can lead a team and ensure all quality standards and procedures are executed consistently and with professionalism. If you are a strong leader, please apply!
Executive Catering Chef Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the back of the house team, mentor and teach them, and hold them accountable to promote internal growth
- Effectively manage all aspects of set up, service, and breakdown of off-site events with great precision and cleanliness
- Represent the brand with honesty and integrity
- Understand and adhere to all food preparation standards, plating techniques, and recipes
- Actively participate in meetings with the catering manager to ensure guest satisfaction
- Proactively address issues that impact food quality and guest service
- Manage schedule to ensure the proper event coverage
- Build menus and recipes and be proficient in managing COGSs
Executive Catering Chef Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of catering experience
- Off-premise experience is a MUST!
- Strong Leadership - must be able to manage, coach, mentor and hold each team member accountable.
- The ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
- Have recent experience in high-volume catering as a catering chef
- Ability to remain organized in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Highly motivated to succeed with strong attention to detail
- Professional in appearance and conduct
