A private Liberal Arts College is seeking an experienced, creative Executive Chef with a passion for International Cuisine to oversee their kitchen operations. If you have a proven background in higher education, we want to talk with you!

Executive Chef Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall success of the food program and overseeing all culinary functions
• Oversee all phases of planning, ordering, inventory, and food preparation
• Adhere to the client’s culture and guidelines, the Health Department’s regulations, and the company’s standards and expectations of food quality, freshness and presentation
• Motivate, train, develop, and direct the back of house associates preparing and cooking foods to accomplish the objectives of the operation to the satisfaction of the customers, clients, and management
  
  

Executive Chef Qualifications

• 3-5 years of culinary management experience in a higher education setting; 2 years of Executive Chef experience required
• Ability to manage cost controls
• High volume production and catering experience required
• Diverse experience with a variety of cuisine
• Associate's or Bachelor
• Creative menu planning, pricing and experience sourcing local ingredients
• Solid tenure in previous employment-preferably no more than 2 jobs in 5 years
