Strategic EHS Director– What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop EHS programs and initiatives across operations.
- Direct compliance operations and safety audits, including ergonomic, emergency response, and subcontractor management.
- Drive ISO 45001 certification efforts and maintain robust safety policies.
- Manage accident investigations, risk mitigation, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate training, licensing, and compliance initiatives with OSHA, EPA, DHS, DOT, and internal standards.
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Occupational Safety, Health, Environment, or Compliance).
- 10 years in regulatory compliance and industrial EHS, with at least 5 years leading safety in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to build partnerships and implement progressive safety initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of relevant EHS legislation and excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ISO 45001 and internal auditing is preferred.
