Responsibilities for Mechanical Engineer:

• Conduct HVAC load calculations and make equipment selections for heating and cooling systems in commercial buildings
• Design air distribution and hydronic systems for HVAC setups
• Research and adhere to local, state, and federal mechanical and energy codes and standards
• Generate mechanical specifications for HVAC systems and designs
• Maintain effective communication with project managers, project engineers, and field foremen during the design phase

Qualifications for Mechanical Engineer:

• Proficient in CAD and Revit standards for creating mechanical documents
• Experience ranging from recent graduates to individuals with 5 or more years of demonstrated experience in mechanical design for the building and construction industry
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
• AutoCAD proficiency, preferably with Rivet
• P.E. License; EIT will be considered if on track to obtain a Professional License
