Responsibilities
- Play a vital role in supporting expecting mothers throughout the childbirth process.
- Responsible for monitoring and assisting in all stages of labor, as well as providing outstanding care before and after delivery.
- Develop, Implement, and evaluate an appropriate plan of care utilizing the nursing process, clinical skills, and patient education.
- Maintains a professional behavior when dealing with issues or conflicts, utilizing appropriate resources, as needed.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Note, and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
- Unencumbered RN license in the State of WY, a compact license, or willing to obtain one prior to start date.
- Current BLS, PALS, ACLS Certifications (Required or willing to obtain prior to starting)
- 1 years of nursing in a hospital setting (preferred L&D but not required)
- Willingness to work with a team, and collaborate with other departments
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules, and cross-training.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where many hats will be worn at one time.
