Lead Manufacturing Accountant Compensation And Benefits

General Ledger Management:
- Prepare journal entries, and account reconciliations, and maintain general ledger balances.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions related to manufacturing operations.
- Oversee cost accounting processes, including standard cost setting, variance analysis, and inventory costing.
- Track and analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, and overhead.
- Provide detailed reporting on cost variances and recommend cost-control measures.
- Manage the monthly inventory reconciliation process, ensuring accurate valuation of inventory.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and operations teams to ensure proper inventory tracking and minimize discrepancies.
- Lead the month-end close process for the manufacturing division, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow analysis.
- Provide regular and ad hoc financial reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and financial standards.
- Support external audits and internal audits related to manufacturing processes and cost accounting.
- Identify opportunities for improving accounting processes and internal controls within the manufacturing environment.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to implement cost-saving initiatives and enhance financial performance.
- Work closely with operations, production, and supply chain teams to gather relevant financial information.
- Provide training and guidance to junior accounting staff and support the team’s development.
