Our client is seeking a highly-qualified Executive Chef for their luxury boutique property in Omaha, NE. This unique opening offers endless opportunities for growth in a collaborative and rewarding work environment. The ideal candidate has recent and significant experience as an Executive Chef at an upscale branded hotel and a passion for leading teams while effectively demonstrating high integrity at all times.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Director of Food & Beverage to develop marketing, sales, and promotional strategies to grow the business and overall profitability including sales of meeting rooms and private dining events
• Provide exceptional cuisine in a proficient and memorable manner while consistently meeting or exceeding financial goals
• Manage the maintenance/sanitation of the food and beverage areas and equipment in the hotel to protect the asset, comply with regulations and ensure quality service
• Work with the Director of Food & Beverage to manage the division's annual budget, forecasts, and objectives to meet/exceed management expectations
• Member of the property Executive Leadership Team
  
  

Qualifications

• 5 years of recent Executive Chef experience at a luxury hotel with banquets, required
• Experience working at a Forbes/Michelin restaurant, required
• Culinary management experience in a Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham or Hyatt property, strongly preferred
• Culinary degree, preferred
• Proven ability to lead, inspire and motivate a large and diverse team including management-level direct reports
• Ability and desire to work a flexible schedule, as the business requires
