Mechanical Design Engineer MEP Job Duties

• Design mechanical and plumbing systems for a variety of MEP projects.
• Develop and modify construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
• Perform QA/QC reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards.
• Manage CAD and BIM workflows, including creating and updating Revit families and CAD dynamic blocks.
• Provide status reports and maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors.

Mechanical Design Engineer MEP - Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in MEP design, focusing on mechanical and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
• Strong skills in producing construction documents within an architectural or engineering firm.
• Effective organizational, collaborative, and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and graphic communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.

Preferred Qualifications

• EIT Certification or PE License.
• Coursework or experience in drafting, architecture, or related fields.
