We are seeking a Motion Control Engineer to join a 50 -year-old machining manufacturer located in Indianapolis. If you are looking to join an organization that provides work / life balance, a mixture of computer and lab work, and growth opportunities, please apply!
MOTION CONTROL ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Research on CNC machine tool motion systems including system kinematics and dynamics, advanced motion control algorithms, geometry and volumetric compensation algorithm
- Research, identify, and formulate solutions to CNC software problems
- Develop and execute testing and verification for CNC motion system
- Maintain current, accurate and detailed documentation of all development and activities in CNC motion system
