Position Summary

Acting as a trusted partner and strategic advisor to the Regional President, this role involves managing mid-term and long-term planning, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic project oversight in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
This role will be remote, requiring frequent travel to our corporate office in Atlanta, as well as production sites in Tennessee and Georgia.
Director of Operational Strategy Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute mid-term and long-term regional strategies in collaboration with the Regional President and leadership teams.
- Transformation Leadership: Design and lead regional transformation programs to drive efficiencies, scale operations, and support growth objectives.
- Project & Program Management: Oversee cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of key projects within scope and budget.
- Change Management: Guide the organization through strategic change initiatives, fostering alignment and minimizing resistance.
- 15 years of experience in strategic planning, program management, or management consulting.
- 5 years of leadership in manufacturing or B2B industries, preferably in steel, ceramics, or precision components.
- Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven expertise in significant strategic project management, change management, and stakeholder collaboration in manufacturing/ plant environments.
- Significant strategic automotive manufacturing planning experience required
- Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience, starting in the high $100s
- Bonus: Annual incentives targeting 25% of base salary
