Social Worker III Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field.
- Current North Carolina Social Work licensure (LCSW, LCSWA, or equivalent required).
- 2 years of experience in social work, particularly in crisis intervention or emergency services.
- Strong assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure and fast-paced situations.
- Experience in child welfare, adult services, or other relevant social work fields is highly preferred.
- Responding to emergency social work cases, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Conducting assessments and providing immediate interventions for clients in crisis.
- Coordinating with law enforcement, medical staff, and other agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all case activities.
- Following local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations while addressing client needs.
- Providing guidance and referrals for ongoing support services.
