SQL Database Administrator II (Remote – Maine Residents Only)

SQL Database Administrator II Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain databases to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Design scalable data pipelines and models to meet business needs.
- Create and optimize Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) workflows for data integration.
- Build and maintain data warehouses and lakes to support analytics and reporting.
- Implement data governance and security measures to ensure compliance.
- Conduct performance tuning and system optimization to maximize scalability and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong SQL expertise and experience with relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting (Java or R is a plus).
- Familiarity with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Hive) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of data modeling, warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Competitive Salary: $120,000–$140,000 annually.
