We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner/Busser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their food and beverages promptly and efficiently. As a Food Runner, you will work closely with the kitchen staff and servers to provide an outstanding dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Assist servers by ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete before delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables as needed.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
- Support guest services by addressing any inquiries or requests promptly.
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order tracking and communication when necessary.
- Help set up banquet events or special functions as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or culinary environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with food preparation, handling, and safety standards is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively during peak hours.
