Full Job Description
Daily Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance: Read, understand, and comply with State Regulations for the
Food Service department.
Food Preparation Assistance: Help with food prep based on the daily menu to ensure
residents receive the meals they expect.
Dishwashing and Sanitization: Wash and sanitize dishes following food service
standards. Prepare dirty dishes for cleaning and ensure all dishes are ready for the next
meal.
Kitchen Maintenance: Keep the kitchen and food storage areas clean and sanitary.
Professional Appearance: Maintain a clean and neat appearance, including wearing
aprons, hairnets, and non-skid shoes.
Waste Management: Collect and dispose of garbage and trash in designated containers.
Physical Requirements: Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Resident and Guest Support: Assist residents and guests as needed.
Confidentiality: Maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the community..
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and operation at all times.
Adhere to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards consistently.
Participate in kitchen activities, including setting up and breaking down ware-washing
systems, dishwashing, pot washing, general cleaning, and food/non-food storage.
Assist serving staff by setting tables, clearing workstations, and cleaning tables.
Clean and sanitize production equipment, work surfaces, and kitchen areas.
Represent the community positively to create a welcoming and marketing-friendly
Environment.
Contribute to a workplace culture where individual engagement and business decisions
drive top-line revenue and occupancy.
Qualifications:
Completion of at least sophomore year in high school is required.
Experience in food service is preferred.
Experience working with seniors is a plus.
Must enjoy smiling and having fun!
