What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Lead position at Goody Goody Liquor?
Assist the management team in overseeing the day to day operation of the retail store, by delegating tasks and ensuring the team provides the best customer service by responding to the customers needs.
Job Duties:
1. Ensure each Customer receives outstanding Customer Service by providing a Customer-friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every Customer, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of Customer Service, inlcuding resolving Customer complaints
2. Help carry out plans to maximize sales and meet or exceed store goals and objectives.
4. Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, merchandise displays; ensure selling floor is adequately stocked.
5. Ensure compliance with all policies.
6. Motivate team members.
7. Assist with training and development for all store personnel.
9. Carry out opening and closing responsibilities.
10. Any other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.
Job Requirements:
1. Must be minimum 21 years of age
2. High School Diploma or equivalent
3. Ability to read, count and write and communicate accurately in English
4. Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
5. Solid communication skills and willingness to work well with Supervisor and Co-Workers in a team environment
6. Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing 0-50 pounds.
7. Ability to accurately and quickly process information thorugh POS register system
8. Willingness to work a flexible schedule to include a combination of mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
9. TABC certificate
10. Food handler certification as needed\
11. Must be enrolled, active and current in GGU ( Wine or Spirits )
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift (up to 8 hours). Must be able to stoop, bend, grasp, and perform repetitive motions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance. Must be able to move large quantities of merchandise with carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other moving equipment. Some walking and stair climbing may be required.
