About the Position
This senior electrical engineer position is responsible for executing projects from conceptual phase to commissioning while ensuring adherence to defined budget and scheduling requirements.
Key Accountabilities
Provide support to prepare cost estimates, financially justify projects, prepare budgets, review designs, supervise installation & commissioning
Coordinate with multidisciplinary Engineering & Maintenance associates to achieve cost-effective goals
Assist in implementing MSR's to ensure compliance with safety, environmental & other regulatory requirements
Conduct periodic audits of contractor's work to ensure safe work practices and standard operating procedures are followed
Design, estimate, modify, layout, purchase, and install plant machinery and equipment to meet safety, quality, and production requirements
Skills and Abilities
Ability to use appropriate computer-based technology, program & debug programming languages & troubleshoot machine problems. Ability to understand & design modern safety control systems. Knowledge in designing electrical control systems is also essential.
