About The Role
We are looking for a motivated Specialist, Accounts Payable to process full-cycle AP and act alongside the AP supervisor on all AP-related inquiries, both internally and externally. You will be part of a fun and dynamic finance and accounting team and will work to ensure all aspects of payables are done efficiently and timely.
Responsibilities include :
- Develop keen understanding of the inventory procurement process
- Match invoices to purchase orders (3-way match)
- Process and code all other invoicing
- Respond timely to vendor inquiries via email and payment software
- Work internally with departments to process payment requests and ensure invoices are being processed correctly and on time.
- Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies
- Work with logistic and buying teams on shipping issues
- Keep accurate records of W9's for 1099 filings
- Complete credit applications, vendor forms and resale certificates by request
