JOB SUMMARY
To provide the highest level of customer service by preforming basic meal preparation. This position does NOT perform any cashiering duties. Common responsibilities include, but are not limited to, meal/ingredient preparation, cooking, cleaning of cookware, cleaning of ovens/fryers, stocking/restocking duties, light cleaning and dusting.
WAGE/BENEFITS

-Starting wage $19/ph with room for advancement per performance and experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/FUNCTIONS:
-Consistently punctual.
-Performs stocking/restocking duties.
-Emptying trash bins.
-Follows security and safety policies/procedures.
-Follows proper food handling procedures according to Hawaii Department Of Health.
-Follow basic recipes and/or product directions
WORKING CONDITIONS:
-Works indoors under regular store conditions.
-Works inside walk-in coolers for organizing/restocking product
Equipment use:
-Common cleaning tools and chemicals.
Work Hours:
-Standard shift is 8 hours
-Days worked may vary due to the demands of schedule.
-Possible Sunday - Saturday availability.
-Flexible availability to work varied shifts as needed (day, mid)
-Extended hours as assigned.
MENTAL DEMANDS:
-Continuously requires attention to detail, organization, alertness.
-Medium/fast-paced, fun and exciting atmosphere.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Continuous standing for extended periods of time, product handling, use of eye-hand-foot coordination, lifting merchandise above head.
Frequent climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, walking, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs. of merchandise cartons.
COMMUNICATION DEMANDS:
-Continually talks to and meets request of supervisors and cashiers.
-Needs to be able to communicate clearly and concisely.
-Needs to have candor when asked questions from Store Manager and Upper Management.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Skills/Knowledge:
-Ability to provide prompt, friendly and quality customer service.
-Ability to perform stock/inventory duties.
Education/Training:
-High School Diploma or equivalent preferred, but not needed.
-On-the-job training provided by the Manager and Upper Management.
