Job Summary
Goosehead Insurance is looking for a talented and driven Content Writer to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who has a passion for crafting clear, engaging, and impactful content while maintaining the highest standards of quality and brand consistency.
This role will play a vital role in crafting persuasive and compelling client focused content. You'll create a variety of materials, including email campaigns, internal and external communications, blogs, brochures, and more.
You will be expected to conduct in-depth research on a variety of different topics to ensure your articles are accurate and aligned with our audience's interest and supporting our growth efforts. As a Content Writer at Goosehead Insurance, you will work as a member of our marketing team and will be expected to collaborate across departments and subject matter experts and implement their feedback and suggestions in your content.
Our ultimate goal is to produce high-quality content that consistently engages our audiences and drives engagement and aligns with sales and revenue growth initiatives.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Content CreationCreate persuasive and engaging copy for various marketing materials, including email campaigns, website copy, case studies, brochures, video and blog posts.Tailor messaging to specific audience segments and channels to ensure relevance and impact.Ensure all messaging and copy aligns with brand identity, voice and key messaging.Compelling storytellerUnderstanding of our target audiences and how to engage each accordingly.Implementing feedback and suggestions from our teams and subject matter expertsEditing, Proofreading, and Quality Assurance (QA)
Act as the editor and proofreader for all written communications to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with the Goosehead brand guidelines.Maintain high quality standards in grammar, style, and tone consistency across all content.Collaboration and Research
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design and product management, to align content with broader brand objectives.Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to keep content relevant and competitive.Experience and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.5 years of professional experience in content creation, copywritingKnowledge of content strategy and creation across multiple mediums (website, email, video, etc.)Portfolio of your best contentWell organized and able to successfully manage multiple projects and multiple deadlines simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft products, Content creation platforms, project management tools.Creating visual content (videos, graphics, etc.)Preferred Qualifications
The ability and desire to learn new communication and marketing tools and systems (e.g. Marketing Cloud).Basic knowledge of HTML.Experience with graphic design / content creation. Graphic design skills with an eye towards maintaining brand standards.Benefits Summary
