Purpose: Assist Gooseneck Marketing team in marketing tasks for internal and external communications.
Employment Type: Seasonal/Temporary position
Schedule: Part-Time (Flexible Hours)
Duration: Summer 2025: May – August. This is a temporary part-time position with the potential to transition into a part-time role based on business needs and the candidate performance.
Location: Velva, ND or Minot, ND with the ability to travel to Velva, ND location periodically
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Participates in project assignments centered-around marketing-related activities at the dealership.
- Delivers and/or assists with promotional events.
- Works with and shadows selected personnel to gain experience with various employment roles at the dealership.
- Works with Marketing team to create and add content to Gooseneck Social Media channels
- Assists with planning, setup, and teardown of Ag Shows.
- Assists with support of other Gooseneck Events
- Helps to create content for Gooseneck Newsletter
- Assists with day-to-day tasks of Gooseneck Marketing
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of database software, computer application systems and ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions.
- Solid oral and written communication.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite
- Knowledge of Adobe Suite preferred, but not required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program
- Current Junior or Senior at a University and in process of completing a degree in a Marketing, Graphic Design, or Business Management, or related major.
- Candidate must be able to work out of the Minot Business Center location or the Velva store location
- Candidate must be willing to travel between Minot, ND and Velva, ND location on occasion
- Excellent business writing skills.
- Possesses strong proofreading skills
- Agricultural background preferred, but not required.
