About The Position
Department: Sales/Accounting
Purpose
Supports Sales Department by completing necessary documentation, reports and maintains department records.
Responsibilities
- Assemble requisite documentation to complete the sales process.
- Performs the processing of equipment sales for the organization.
- Post note acceptances daily from John Deere Financial.
- Settlement of Equipment, auditing of Sales Incentives and posting of related accounting entries.
- Processing of customer contracts.
- Processing of Multi-Unit deals.
- Assists with equipment rental/demo/loaner paperwork and billing.
- May perform titling of ATV’s and UTV’s.
- Coordinates administrative tasks for the sales department.
- Maintains accurate and standardized files.
- May maintain workflow documentation for the sales department, which may include settlements, customer financing, floor plans, and/or orders.
- Assist salesmen with quotes, purchase orders, and contracts, as needed.
- Other duties related to sales processing may be assigned.
- 1 years in an accounting or bookkeeper position.
- Experience with using business system applications preferred.
- Knowledge of agriculture equipment industry preferred.
- Understands accounting fundamentals.
- Ability to use standard desktop applications, such as Microsoft Excel and Internet functions.
- Ability to use the dealers business system and other programs specific to the position.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
