We are seeking a talented and motivated Estate Planning Attorney to join our team and help us grow our Estate Planning division. As our Estate Planning Attorney, you will work closely with our team to develop and execute a winning strategy that will drive growth and success for our clients and team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a JD degree from an accredited law school, 3-7 years of experience in Estate Planning, and a passion for helping clients achieve their goals. We are looking for someone who is a quick learner, a great communicator, and a team player who is ready to roll up their sleeves and dive in.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting and reviewing estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives.
  • Advising clients on tax planning strategies related to their estates and trusts.
  • Representing clients in probate court proceedings, including contested matters.
  • Advising clients on charitable giving options and drafting related documents.
  • Collaborating with other attorneys and staff to ensure timely and effective delivery of legal services to clients.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients, potential clients, and other professionals in the community.

Requirements :

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in North Carolina, or eligible to waive into the North Carolina Bar.
  • At least 3-7 years of experience practicing in the area of estate planning and administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent client service.
