We are seeking an HVAC Installation Apprentice to join our crew. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Install and / or replace heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential or commercial establishments.Install and / or replace HVAC system components, equipment, ductwork, refrigeration, condensation, flue gas venting, and control wiring following company policies / procedures and manufacturer's specifications.Read and interpret product specifications / plans and prepare for on-site installations / replacements while anticipating potential challenges.Install or rework ductwork, air conditioners, heat pumps, gas, electric furnaces, thermostats as well as brazing refrigerant lines and connecting electrical, gas lines, drain lines and flue pipes through walls and roofs.Design and fabricate flex and sheet metal duct systems and duct fittings as required.Operate motor vehicles and equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.Safely operate hand and power tools while working on projects.Ensure compliance with appliance standards and OSHA regulations.We're it if this is You :
Ability to work independently and with a team.Excellent customer service and math and communication skills.High School Diploma or equivalent.HVAC Trade School or general construction experience preferred.Knowledge of how to install HVAC units including sheet metal, refrigerant lines, equipment, and other components; ability to properly braze refrigerant lines preferred but not required.Adept at operating basic hand and power tools as well as motor vehicles including various lifts and other equipment preferred.Knowledge of terminology, materials, methods, and tools involved in the heating and air conditioning industry required.CONNECT WITH US TODAY TO LEARN ABOUT THIS EXCITING OPPORTUNITY!
