Description Duties: Responsible for performing initial level of credit review and analysis of commercial lease and loan transactions under the direction of, minimally, a Senior Manager Reviews transaction terms and conditions of exposures generally up to $2,000,000, which includes identifying the strength and experience of new and existing obligors Prepares financial statement spreads and reviews the adequacy of supporting financial information and the need to obtain additional and/or more current financial data Reviews key financial results, ratios and transaction structure elements including the adequacy of the debt service coverage and loan to value. Identifying any missing information or inquiries for credit decisioning Preparation of comprehensive Credit Offering Memoranda covering key aspects of financial and credit risk elements, obligor credit profile, etc., including determination of risk rating. Communications with internal and external sources to request specific information required for analysis Makes recommendations toward final disposition of transactions outside of credit authority, as applicable. May have and use credit authority, but cannot co-sign without, at a minimum a Senior Manager Responsible for compliance with Company policies and procedures Prepares annual reviews Qualifications/Education Requirements Concentration in Accounting and/or Finance preferred; required for applicants with no prior relevant work experience. Credit analysis and financial statement analysis experience required Proficient knowledge ability with MS Word and Excel. Financial spreading software a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Minimum of two (2) years foundational experience Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS, BBA, etc.) from a four-year college or university required, with a concentration in Accounting and/or Finance preferred Gordon Brothers offers a very competitive total compensation package, including base salary and bonus plan, health insurance, dental benefits, a generous 401(k) match, time off benefits, and more.
