Capital Job Responsibilities Provide analytical support for Capital, which includes due diligence, analysis, and data collection to ensure the accuracy of supplied information Assist with researching the retail, consumer products, industrial, and/or other market sectors Identify, gather, and analyze relevant information to assess credit risk during underwriting Assist with preparation of credit approval memos and presentations that illustrate well-reasoned analysis Handle multiple projects with the support of a team, in a friendly learning environment Utilize the company’s CRM system Learn methodologies and use standard models and templates to support team members with data collection, due diligence and analysis Develop a qualitative understanding of nuances that may affect asset values Education and Experience 3rd or 4th year student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, economics or finance. Understanding of financial statements is helpful, including income statements and balance sheets. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities The ability to self-motivate and multi-task deliverables to meet deadlines set by Management. Attention to detail and strong organizational and time management skills. A good attitude, intellectual curiosity, and a desire to learn. Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications (required). Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team. A demonstrated work ethic and professional demeanor. Must have strong written and oral communication skills. Strong Excel skills are required, including pivot tables and advanced functions and formulas.
