Job Summary: As a Field Examiner, you will be a key player in our collateral examination team, conducting asset-based field examinations. Your role involves performing detailed analyses, documenting findings, and preparing comprehensive reports to help our clients make informed credit decisions. Key Responsibilities: Conduct on-site engagements to assess the value of borrowers' collateral. Analyze accounts receivable, inventory, and other assets to identify potential risks. Review financial statements, bank statements, tax payments, and more to detect any discrepancies or fraudulent activities. Document audit activities and prepare clear, concise reports highlighting areas of risk and recommendations for improvement. Ensure compliance with loan document terms and conditions. Maintain a commitment to professional development and meet administrative reporting requirements. What We're Looking For: Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, audit, or finance. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in field exams, borrowing base lending, or secured finance. Experience in financial auditing or forensic accounting is a plus. Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Word; knowledge of PowerPoint is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Attributes: High integrity, strong business acumen, critical thinking abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
